The Anthony Daniele & Glenn Peter Sullivan Memorial Preschool Scholarships
The Anthony Daniele and Glen Peter Sullivan Memorial Preschool Scholarships were created to honor members of the parish of St. Gertrude’s who exemplified service above self, loved children, and always strove to do their personal best. The two scholarships are granted on an annual basis.
The application and guidelines below apply to both scholarships, but please note an applicant can only be awarded with one during a school year.
The current scholarships will be granted for the 2025-2026 school year, with the application deadline being May 30th 2025.
The Ida Barneo Preschool Scholarship
The Ida Barnao Preschool Scholarship, in its 27th year of being offered, is awarded to a 2,3, or 4-year-old whose family is a member of St. Gertrude’s Parish, and serves the memory of Ms. Ida Banao, who was a member of our parish, and a founding member of St. Gertrude’s Rosary Guild. Applications must be submitted by May 31st. No late applications will be considered.
The Bayville Rotary 4-Year-Old Scholarship
The Bayville Rotary Club will be providing a scholarship for area children entering a four-year-old class at St. Gertrude’s Preschool. Applications must be submitted by May 30, 2025; no late applications will be accepted. Award decisions will be made in June.
